I would like it better if it had some arms that folde out where the missle launcher pods fold out

You mean the pipes on the legs? I did'nt think that far about the design when I started drawing it. I believe I was think'n shock absorbers or something. Retro rockets would be a good choice also. :D

Nice. I really like the practical approach to mecha design. It seems you envision them as dropped from low orbit or in-atmosphere flight?
